400 年以上の歴史を持つ日本の伝統芸能「歌舞伎」。それは芝居、踊り、音楽の3 要素を全て含む総合芸術である。 当時、世間の常識に囚われず、流行の最先端をいく奇抜なファッションで世間を楽しませた「かぶきもの」の扮装を真似て演じたのがルーツと言われる。 お上に頼らず、市井の人々が育てたこの芸能にリスペクトをささげ、伝統を感じながらも「新しい」香りに仕上げる。 檜舞台のイメージをトップノートとしてパイン（松）、ベルガモット、そしてセダーウッドで表現し、演舞、音楽の華やかさをローズ、ガーデニア、ミュゲ（スズラン）のフローラルノートで表現。 ラストは歌舞伎の演目にもなっているお香のように、重厚なサンダルウッド、ムスク、アンバー等で創り上げた香りである。
Kabuki, a traditional Japanese performing art with over 400 yea rs of history, is a comprehensive art form that includes theater, dance, and music. Its roots are said to lie in the performances of “kabuki-mono,” who entertained the public with bold fashions that defied societal norms. This art, cultivated by the common people rather than relying on the elite, is honored here with a fragrance that embodies tradition while also feeling “new.” The top notes are inspired by the image of the wooden stage, expressed through pine, bergamot, and cedarwood. The brilliance of the dance and music is captured in floral notes of rose, gardenia, and muguet.
